Near-Field Communication (NFC) enables fans to enter the stadium via Apple or Google Wallet. Supporters can now also access their match-by-match tickets and enter the stadium directly via the Aston Villa app. Simply log into your Digital Account in the app and your tickets will appear under the ‘Tickets’ section. However you're planning on getting to the match, take a look at our Travel & Parking guide before leaving home.  A traffic exclusion zone will be in operation around the stadium, meaning there will be less traffic on Trinity Road and Witton Lane from up to two hours before the match starts.  The Holte Pub will open three hours prior to kick-off and close two hours after full-time.Parking and Travel Supporters are advised that the supply of car parking around Villa Park is limited. There is no planned disruption to key road, rail and bus routes to Villa Park on Wednesday. There is an amended late evening/early morning service between London Euston and Wolverhampton from Tuesday, December 3 to Friday, December 6, however this is currently unlikely to affect travel to and from Villa Park on Wednesday. Supporters are also advised that the city centre is likely to be busier than normal, as the Christmas Market is now live.City Centre and Tamworth Shuttle BusesAston Villa is delighted to confirm to supporters that our AV82 city centre shuttle bus service will continue to run on matchdays this season. This follows a successful trial of the service at the back end of last season. The service will be in operation for all men’s home matches in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and all domestic cup competitions, helping supporters travel more easily to and from Villa Park. Run by Stagecoach, the AV82 shuttle picks supporters up from outside Birmingham New Street Station on Dudley Street, running directly to Villa Park. Buses run every 15 minutes, starting three hours before kick-off for every home fixture. Services run back to Birmingham New Street at regular intervals for up to 90 minutes after the final whistle of every game, with services departing from Grosvenor Road, on the walking route towards Aston Station. The club are working on alternate arrangements to enable a continuation of some of the family-friendly pre-match activities. In-stadia betting kiosks will also be in operation for this fixture and such service will be provided on a cashless basis.The Warehouse Design UpdateThe Warehouse, which will now be 40,000 sqft, has been further developed with an enhanced design to accommodate live music and entertainment events for 3,500+ visitors and fans. Structural alterations to over half the rooftop will make way for a newly raised flat roof which will accommodate a generous mezzanine floor and viewing galley from above for both live music and fan zone entertainment. Aston Villa will face West Ham United at Villa Park in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.  The draw was made on Monday evening, pitting Unai Emery's team against the Hammers. Ties will be played over the weekend of Saturday, January 11.  The clubs have met three times in the FA Cup, Villa winning twice and losing once, with the last meeting coming back in 1980.  Villa are seven-time winners of the FA Cup, last lifting the famous trophy in 1957.  Ticketing details will be announced in due course.

Supporters can now vote for your Aston Villa Player of the Month for November.  The Villans contested five matches in all competitions throughout Novembver, as two draws - against Juventus and Crystal Palace - finished a month which started with three defeats.  Having taken the lead in the first half at Tottenham Hotspur through Morgan Rogers in their first game on November 3, Villa succumbed to a second-half comeback, losing 4-1, before a 1-0 Champions League defeat at Club Brugge three days later.  A 2-0 defeat followed at Anfield on Villa's return to Premier League action, in their last outing before the international break, before a point at Villa Park against Crystal Palace on Saturday, November 23, in their first game back.  Ollie Watkins' first-half strike pulled Villa level, before Ross Barkley's second-half header equalised for a second time to ensure Unai Emery's men left with a share of the spoils.  Villa's final game of the month came back on home soil four days later, as the Lions shared a goalless draw with Italian giants Juventus in the Champions League.  A solid defensive performance, completed by a superb Emi Martínez second-half save, secured a clean sheet against the Coppa Italia champions, to see Emery's side head into the final two Champions League matchdays ninth in the league phase.  The Argentinian stopper would be nominated for The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper Award later in the week, with Watkins also nominated for The Best FIFA Men's 11 Award. Nicolas Jackson's volley opened the scoring for the hosts before Enzo Fernandez added a well-taken second shortly after the half-hour mark in west London. The Villans battled to find a route back into the encounter but Cole Palmer's 20-yard strike seven minutes from time settled matters and ensured the points remained in the capital. Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Lewis Dobbin faced off against one another for their respective loan clubs on Saturday, as West Bromwich Albion drew 1-1 away at Preston North End. Both players started the game at Deepdale, which saw the Baggies take the lead in the opening period through Karlan Ahearne-Grant, before Emil Riis Jakobsen equalised 10 minutes after the interval. Dobbin was withdrawn after 68 minutes for the visiting side, while Kesler-Hayden completed the full 90 for North End. In the Premier League, Àlex Moreno came off the bench for the final 13 minutes of Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win over Ipswich Town, while in League Two, Filip Marschall played 90 minutes in goal for Crewe Alexandra, who were held to a 1-1 draw on the road at Carlisle United. Across Europe, Enzo Barrenechea started and played 84 minutes for Valencia as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Mallorca in La Liga on Saturday, while Samuel Iling-Jr was an unused substitute for Bologna, who won 3-0 in Serie A over Venezia.
