
We have done well but we want to go higher, says Heart of Lions boss Bashir Hayford
Heart of Lions head coach, Bashir Hayford, believes his team has made a good start to the season but is determined to achieve more.Currently third in the league standings, six points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, Hayford's team is focused on securing wins to improve their chances of lifting the league title."We are expecting a win. We have to make sure we get some points because life at the top is not easy," Hayford said ahead of the team's Week 29 match against Legon Cities FC. "We have done well, but we are striving to go higher."Hayford emphasised that his team is still in contention for the title, saying, "It's not over until it's over. We have five matches to go. It's about 15 points. We are trying to get 10 points, and we will see where it will take us. We are still on course."The match between Legon Cities FC and Heart of Lions will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.A win would be crucial for Heart of Lions to maintain their position in the top three and keep their title aspirations alive.
