
Karela United coach Nurudeen Amadu sets survival target
Karela United head coach, Nurudeen Amadu, has stated that his primary objective is to steer the club clear of relegation at the end of the Ghana Premier League season.Speaking after his sideâs 1-0 loss to Nations FC last Sunday at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Amadu acknowledged the challenges since taking over mid-season but remains confident of a turnaround.âThe ultimate goal is to escape relegation at the end of the season. I took over the team along the line, so I will manage the situation and ensure the team survives,â he said.Karela United have recorded just two wins in their last six matches and currently sit 15th on the league table with 25 points from 26 games.Amadu remains optimistic ahead of their next fixture against Aduana Stars on Sunday, April 13, noting that his team is determined to rise to the occasion.
